Daemon is pronounced the same as demon; that is where the similarity ends.
Demon = An evil being.
Daemon = A familiar, embodying your true calling.

Early on, we made a decision, to make our Apps exclusively for iOS.

Our reasoning is to take full advantage of the integrated iOS features to deliver a highly optimised product.

We really like the Apple ecosystem. It integrates software and hardware in ways that make it hyper-efficient and secure. For example we take advantage of iCloud for storage of user-data as it is extremely reliable and we don’t need to store users details on a separate server. Apple design standards ensure a pleasant user experience.

As a small distributed company, maintaining Habit Daemon on different platforms would invariably lead to compromises in quality and slower delivery of updates.

In short, we would rather do one thing well than chase a larger market share.
